BAZAARS
XThe 14th annual summer arts and crafts bazaar is planned from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 19 at Centennial Park, East Pershing Street, Salem, by Salem Memorial Building Association. CRAFT SHOWS
XHanover Township Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary will sponsor a craft show Aug. 18 at Guilford Lake Ruritan Hall, state Route 172, Guilford Lake. Crafters have until July 15 to register. FESTIVALS
XImmaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4490 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will hold a festival from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday; 6 to midnight Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and 1 to 5 and 6 to midnight Sunday. There will be rides, a white elephant booth, a fun run, drawings for cash prizes and fireworks.
FUND-RAISERS
XHubbard Alumni Association is sponsoring a raffle for two tickets to the Notre Dame-Michigan football game Sept. 14 in South Bend, Ind., and two nights' lodging there. The winner also will receive $300 in expense money and is responsible for transportation. Tickets are available at Fat's Village Tavern and Caroselli's, both in Hubbard, and Golden Dawn Restaurant in Youngstown. Tickets are $5. The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Village Tavern. Proceeds will benefit the Hubbard Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
GOLF EVENTS
XAnimal Welfare League of Trumbull County will sponsor a golf classic June 19 at Avalon South Golf Course, Howland. There will be lunch and registration at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. The cost is $60 a person. Featured will be cash prizes for men's, women's and mixed teams, a catered buffet dinner, door prizes and rain check in case of inclement weather. XAustintown Growth Foundation will host a scholarship golf outing June 17 at Salem Hills Country Club. The cost is $65 a person and includes lunch from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., a shotgun start at 12:30, a steak dinner after play, a cart, green fees and prizes. Hole sponsorships are $50. XChristian Women's Group of St. James the Apostle Church, state Route 422 W., New Bedford, Pa., will hold a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
XFirst United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will hold a sidewalk sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 10 and 11 and from 9 a.m. to noon June 12. Wednesday will be $1 per bag day.

XTrumbull County Historical Society will hold its annual yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Jonathan Stark Edwards House, 303 Monroe N.W., Warren. Proceeds will be used for the upkeep of the house and grounds.
XVFW 4192 Auxiliary, Mineral Ridge, will have a rummage sale from 10 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
