Central Optical 11, Lawrence County Cougars 13's 10 -- Dan Babyak, Anthony Porter, and Brennan Meenachan all had two hits for Central.
Commercial Neon 11, Astros 6 -- Dan Balog pitched the win and added two hits. Brian Mellott had three doubles and Tom Ivany chipped in with two hits.
Sluggers 5, Campbell 2 -- Aaron Pollack fired a complete game two hitter. Tyler Stanley singled and tripled while Lou Kopachy, Bryan Boyce, and Pollack all doubled.
BABE RUTH (13)
ESK 9, Line Drive 8 -- Joe Morales, Tony Brunetti, and Mike Olenych combined to scatter seven hits. For Line Drive, Frank LaRubbio had three hits.
Lawrence County Cougars 16, Convenient 2 -- Mark Butler and Matt Germanski combined on a three hitter. Ryan Forbes has two hits.
TRI-T PONY
Struthers St. Anthony's 13, Boardman Testa Construction 6 -- Tristan Suchora had three hits while Dan Monus, Joey DeMello and Jerry Beeson each had two for Struthers. Gordon Slanina struck out 11 batters and got the pitching win. Rick Lape had a double and triple to lead Boardman.
Struthers St. Anthony's 7, Salem VFW 4 -- Dan Monus hit two doubles and drove in three runs to lead Struthers. Adding two hits each for Struthers were Ryan Stanko, Steven Streb and Gordon Slanina. Steven Streb got the pitching victory. Sean McKee had a hit for Salem.
Canfield Anthem Blue Cross 6, New Middletown Lions 1 -- Joe Rosko had three hits, including two home runs, for Canfield. Tom Ivany also hit a homer. Andy Richy and Dan Duncan had two hits each for New Middletown.

SOFTBALL
The Ohio Stars 12U -- Went 3-1 in the Poland Fast Pride tournament to qualify for the NSA World Series Qualification. The team's pitchers are Samantha Peters, Jamie Hardie and Nicole Horvath. Kristen Stahl led the team with six hits while Courtney Porter had five hits, Bianca Biondillo with four. Samantha Peters' three hits included two triples. Jackie Nentwick's three hits included a home run.
Tri-T (13-14)
Canfield Gluck Insurance 13, Mill Creek Sandwich Factory 3 -- Ashley Bleggi had three hits and scored twice. Lauren McGivern and Katie Williams each had two hits. Megan Lileas had two hits and scored twice. Ashley McClusky and Jillian Muth each hit a triple.
Canfield Gluck Insurance 7, Poland Apostolakis Honda 0 -- Rachel Melewski lead Canfield with three hits, including a double, and scored twice. Abbey Tierney went 2-for-3 with a triple and a single, and two RBIs. Ashley Bleggi pitched the shutout, giving up only 1 hit. Rena Bondi singled for Poland.
Canfield Gluck Insurance 13, Niles Riechard Industries 1 -- Jillian Muth had triple, while Kayla LaManga, Sunnie Price and Stephanie Sanetrick each had two hits apiece for Canfield. Veronica Esparra pitched five innings giving up only one run.
