Carrie A. Boris, Mark Rea plan Oct. 12 wedding

SALEM -- Announcement is being made by Ernest and Carole Rea, 1210 Chestnut Grove Road, of the engagement of their son, Dr. Mark E. Rea of the same address, and Carrie A. Boris, daughter of Raymond and Averil Boris, all of 821 S. Hayes St., Allentown, Pa.
The bride-elect is a cum laude graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is employed as a pharmacist at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Hershey, Pa.
Dr. Rea graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. He received his doctor of medicine degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown and is a medical resident in internal medicine at Pennsylvania State University-Hershey Medical Center in Hershey.
The couple are planning an open ceremony for 3 p.m. Oct. 12 at St. Thomas More Church in Allentown. A reception by invitation will be held later that afternoon in the church's family center.
