LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



WARREN -- Five Second National Bank employees were recognized for outstanding sales and customer satisfaction recently at the Great American Advisors Inc. Advisor Summit. Peter R. Christie was one of nine investments representatives nationwide presented with a platinum achievement award. Christie has 10 years' experience in the investment industry and joined Second National in 1996. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from Youngstown State University.
Donald Nichol and Richard Vilsack received gold achievement awards. Nichols joined the company in 1998 and is a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing. Vilsack is vice president and manager of the Investment Center at Second National.
Richard Horvath received a silver achievement award. He joined the bank in 2000 and has seven years of banking experience. Pasquale Martuccio was presented a bronze achievement award and received the All-American Team Award from American Funds. He joined the bank in 2001 and has a degree in economics and social sciences from the Universita' delgi Studi del Molise, Campobasso, Italy.
HUBBARD -- Lighting Products Inc. in Hubbard, a division of ATC Lighting and Plastics, has passed a series of quality recertification audits conducted by the National Quality Assurance U.S.A. The company's sister plants in Geneva and Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, also passed their recertification audits. Lighting Products manufactures vehicle lighting products for domestic and international markets, including front, rear and interior assemblies, dome lighting and side markers. Mike Bonelli is plant manager.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Six members of the International Association of Administrative Professionals Yo-Mah-O Chapter have qualified for professional certifications based on testing, educational and work experience.
New recipients of the Certified Administrative Professional designation are: Judy A. Cundik, who serves as a trainer and handles duties in the technical support and financial department for Harrington Benefit Services; H. Marlene Dailey of Youngstown, an administrative assistant in the office of the provost at Youngstown State University; Mary Lynn Pavone, a secretary in the Geology and Environmental Studies Department of YSU; Christine Simone, office manager at Melmor Associates in Niles; and Barbara Sofranec, office assistant 3 with the Ohio attorney general's office in Boardman. All five also hold Certified Professional Secretary designations.
Thomas Franklin, a quality assurance and technology certification clerk for V & amp;M Star, earned a Certified Professional Secretary designation.
