Brenda Tipple, Jeffrey Brink to wed Aug. 18

Announcing their engagement are Brenda Tipple, 25 Woodrow Ave., Boardman, and Jeffrey Brink, 4912 E. Middletown Road, New Middletown.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Judy Tipple of the Woodrow Avenue address and Earl Tipple, 3531 Hayes Road, Dorset. Mr. Brink is a son of Robert and Lucille Brink, 4602 Calla Road, New Middletown.
Invitations will be issued for the couple's wedding to take place at 3 p.m. Aug. 18 at Simon Road Church of God in Boardman and for a reception to be held that evening at The Elm Tree in Struthers.
Miss Tipple holds an associate degree in applied business from Youngstown State University and is a court reporter for Nagy-Baker Court Reporting Inc. in Youngstown.
Her fiance holds a bachelor's degree in education from YSU, where he also graduated magna cum laude with a master's degree in educational administration. He is a high-school history teacher with the Springfield Local School District in New Middletown, where he also is head coach for boys' varsity basketball.
