YOUNGSTOWN -- Michelle Sue Will, 3660 Fawn Drive, Canfield, became the bride of John Claude Hamstra, 3452 Springlake Circle, Loveland, during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony July 13 at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Paul Brimfield officiated, and a reception was held at Tippecanoe Country Club, Canfield.
They spent their honeymoon in Aruba and live in Cincinnati.
Their parents are Thomas and Margaret Will of the Canfield address and John and Sue Hamstra, 3123 Crown Point Drive, Stow.
The bride wore a strapless gown of ivory satin accented by beading on the bodice and styled with an A-line skirt.
Honor attendants were Diane McDonald and Shannon Caton. Bridesmaids were Janet Will, the bride's sister-in-law; Jodie Hamstra, the groom's sister; and Dacia Ludwick, Erin McKenna and Hollie Bonewit. They wore navy-blue dresses. Junior bridesmaids were Jessica and Emily Bodamer.
Jay Hill served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Hamstra, the groom's brother; Scott Will, the bride's brother; and Thomas Chadwick White, Adam Roberts, John Long and Mark Plachta. Ushers were Trevor Ward, Phil Wood and Kevin Curtis.
Mrs. Hamstra graduated cum laude from Miami University, Oxford, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and summa cum laude from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, with a master's in kinesiology.
Mr. Hamstra, who has bachelor's degrees in history and education from Miami University, is a history teacher and coach at Mason City Schools.
