Mixed shoot set
The Mosquito Bowman will be holding a 30 mixed, 3D shoot and an American 900 round Aug.4. Registration will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the 3D targets and from 9 to 10 a.m. for the 900 round. Awards to winners in each class.
The club will also host a benefit tournament Sept. 1, including 40 mixed 3-D targets and American 900 round to raise funds to help send a youth life-threatening illness from northeast Ohio on an elk hunt in New Mexico.
The club is located on McCleary-Jacoby Road.
FESTIVAL
Kayak raffle planned
Tickets are now on sale for a raffle Aug. 18, at the Third Annual Watershed Festival. The Mahoning SWCD will raffle a Walden "Sunapee" Kayak. Tickets are available at the SWCD office and cost $2 each or three tickets for $5. The kayak will be part of a package, including a paddle, and personal floatation device, valued at $600.
