Anniversary is celebrated by the Rohrers



COLUMBIANA -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rohrer of Columbiana was celebrated at a family gathering held July 14 at T.J.'s Restaurant in the Holiday Inn, Boardman.
Participating were the Rohrers' children and their spouses, the Rev. Larry and Sharon Rohrer and Bill and Cathy Hoover, all of Columbiana. Completing the family circle are three grandchildren.
The couple were married July 27, 1952, at North Lima Mennonite Church and are members of Leetonia Mennonite Church.
Mrs. Rohrer worked at the former Tidd's Department Store and the Ben Franklin Federated Store in Columbiana, and retired in 1995 as a unit secretary at Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Rohrer, a truck driver for many years, was a milk hauler for Smith Dairy in Boardman and drove for Iron City Sash and Door in North Lima prior to retiring in 1985.
