CLEVELAND -- The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist provided the setting June 22 for the wedding of Anne Marie Gozdanovic of Chagrin Falls and Joseph Anthony Berquist of North Royalton.
The Rev. Edward T. Estok officiated for the children of Harley and Helen Gozdanovic, 310 E. 309th St., Willowick, and Janice and Gilbert Berquist Jr., 35 Jamestown Court, Youngstown. A reception was held at the Old Oak Room at Tower City.
After a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, they live in Mayfield Heights.
The bride wore a two-piece satin gown.
Dr. Jill A. Harmat of Cuyahoga Falls, her sister, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Amy E. Gozdanovic of Cleveland, also her sister; Jill M. Berquist-Bogen of Canfield, the groom's sister; and Kimberly M. Cook of Cleveland. Flower girl was Sara T. Jenkins of Brandon, Miss., her cousin.
Gilbert M. Berquist III of North Royalton, the groom's brother, was best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Laszlo S. Harmat of Cuyahoga Falls, the bride's brother-in-law; Dr. Gregg L. Bogen of Canfield, his brother-in-law; and Jon A. Gozdanovic of Willowick, her brother. Ring bearers were Benjamin, Daniel and Matthew Bogen, all of Canfield, his nephews.
The bride, a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, with a bachelor's degree in education, is office manager at Aristotle Enterprises in Newbury. The groom earned a bachelor's in chemical engineering at Youngstown State University. He is program coordinator of chemical management services at Quaker Chemical.
