Police arrest 4 at nightspot

AUSTINTOWN -- Three visits by police to a nightspot resulted in the arrests of four people.
They were arrested early Friday in the parking of The Mill on South Raccoon Road, and all are scheduled to appear in Austintown Court at 1 p.m. Monday on the charges.
According to reports, police on routine patrol at 2:10 a.m. noticed three men walking through the parking lot, followed by four or five other men wearing shirts emblazoned with the word "security."
One of the men, believed to be a security guard at The Mill, began yelling loudly at the first group of men, waving his arms and shouting obscenities, police said.
Police said that when he ceased to follow orders to stop, John J. Diehl, 28, of Black Oak Lane, Youngstown, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Reports also show that Prudence S. Lewis, 19, of Forestview Drive, was spotted by police smoking what appeared to be marijuana at 2:30 a.m. She was charged with possession of marijuana.
In the final report, officers said they were driving through the parking lot when a vehicle with two male passengers drove past. According to the report, there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car, so police initiated a stop.
Kalen L. Watson, 18, of Hiland Avenue, Warren, was arrested and charged with permitting drug abuse and drug abuse (marijuana), and Eugene M. Henderson, 19, of Todd Avenue, Warren, was charged with drug abuse (crack cocaine).
