YOUNGSTOWN -- William Smith and his bride, the former Nancy LaRew, both of 812 E. Avondale Ave., honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise after their June 22 wedding at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Dr. Larry Kline officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony, and later the newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at Willow Creek in Girard.
The bride is a daughter of Robert Young Sr. of Warren and the late Agnes Young. The groom is a son of Helen Smith, 1423 Douglas Ave., and the late Perry Smith.
Sequins and beads enhanced the bride's ivory gown designed in an off-the-shoulder style and with a detachable train.
Harriet Nitzsky of Girard, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. She wore an eggplant-colored dress, as did the bridesmaids, Melissa LaRew of Youngstown, the bride's daughter; Tiffany Smith of Mineral Ridge, the groom's daughter; and Olivia Nitzsky of Girard, her niece. Flower girl was Celina Smith of Mineral Ridge, his granddaughter.
Fred Smith of Youngstown performed the duties of best man for his uncle. Groomsmen were Michael Smith of Poland and Patrick Underwood of Youngstown, the groom's nephews, and David LaRew of Youngstown, the bride's son. Her nephew, Dustin Crowley of Portersville, Pa., was ring bearer.
Mrs. Smith is a nursing assistant at Forum Health North Side Medical Center.
Mr. Smith is a crane operator at Midwest Steel and Alloy.
They live at the Avondale address.
