Judge sentences four people for offenses



MERCER -- Judge Michael Wherry of Mercer County Common Pleas Court has sentenced two people to prison for drug offenses .
Franklin Royster, 23, of Fruit Avenue, Farrell, will serve one to five years for delivery of a controlled substance. Royster was arrested Sept. 14 for selling a small amount of cocaine to an undercover agent in the parking lot of the Kings & amp; Queens, a Farrell bar. He was given credit for 250 days served.
Jessica Clark, 20, of Franklin, was sentenced to one to 12 months followed by four years' probation for criminal conspiracy to acquire a controlled substance by fraud.
In May 2001, she used another woman's prescription to obtain 60 Oxycontin tablets from Grove City Walmart in Pine Township.
Lucius Ellis Sr., 29, of Fairgreen Avenue, Youngstown, was placed on five years' probation for retail theft. He was convicted of conspiring with another man Jan. 20 to steal hats, gloves and jogging suits valued at $565 from the Reebok Outlet Store at the Grove City Factory Stores in Springfield Township.
Robert McCray, 43, of Beechwood Avenue, Farrell, was placed on one year probation for misdemeanor theft by unlawfully taking an air conditioner from a Farrell residence Oct. 12.
