The city's board of control approved these spending items Thursday:
An additional $77,703 for sidewalk replacement, bringing the total contract with Foust Construction to $317,823.
A $175,457 payment to Marucci & amp; Gaffney to make emergency repairs and replacement to a 24-inch sewer line on Oak Hill Avenue.
Severance of $42,586 for James Flynn, a battalion chief in the fire department who retired June 27.
Severance of $2,371 for James DiMuzio, a lieutenant in the fire department who retired June 21.
Severance of $15,867 for Joanne Murphy, a turnkey supervisor in the water department who retired June 28.
Severance of $7,981 for Eileen Zornjak, an inspector in the water department who retired May 28.
Severance of $5,783 to the estate of John Carrazzio, a computer operation coordinator in the water department who died June 1.
Severance of $4,300 for Joanne Schneider, a meter reading clerk who retired June 28.
Severance of $5,167 for John Regginello, an assistant prosecutor in the law department who resigned June 28.
Severance of $2,540 for Benjamin Joltin, an assistant prosecutor who resigned June 28.
