Summary of police activity:
July 11
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 45-year-old Youngstown man on a domestic violence charge after his wife said he hit her on the head and punched her. The victim showed swelling and bruises on her elbow and shoulder.
Robbery: Two men robbed the One Stop Mart, 4495 Logan Way, at gunpoint and left with an undetermined amount of cash.
Vandalism: Police arrested a 19-year-old Girard man after he reportedly used a crowbar to damage a pay phone at Churchill Park.
July 13
Burglary/auto theft: A tape deck and receiver, a video game box and two ring boxes were stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Mount Everett Road. Also, a 2001 Toyota RAV 4 was missing from a garage at the residence.
Forgery: A man in the 600 block of Beverly Hills Drive said his former wife forged his signature on a document in an attempt to obtain a co-signer for an apartment.
Criminal damaging: Someone used a key to damage a car's paint in the 4900 block of Logan Way.
July 14
Assault: Police were called to Choice's Lounge, 1620 Motor Inn Drive, after three females began fighting with each other. One victim suffered a cut lip, a scratched eye and had a clump of her hair pulled out.
Theft: A woman reported someone stole a bracelet from her vehicle while it was being washed at Big Jim's Brushless Car Wash, 3659 Belmont Ave.
July 15
Warrant: Police arrested a 27-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of making a false police report.
Drugs: Police arrested a 39-year-old Youngstown man on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after stopping his vehicle on Logan Way and finding 32 plastic bags containing white powder residue, a lighter, paper suspected of being used to roll marijuana and suspected marijuana seeds in the front seat.
Criminal damaging: Someone used a bottle bomb to damage a mailbox in the 300 block of Dunn Drive.
July 16
Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the 200 block of Colonial Drive and took a DVD player and $500 in cash.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 55-year-old Youngstown man on a domestic violence charge after his wife said he beat her up and grabbed her by the shirt and pantleg.
July 17
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen from her place of employment in the 1000 block of Trumbull Avenue.
July 18
Theft: Two hammers were taken from Legacy Furniture Guild, 231 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Credit-card fraud: A woman in the 10 block of Marlo Lane reported someone fraudulently used her credit card to open an Internet account.
Theft: Someone left Shell gas station, 420 S. State St., without paying for $10 worth of gasoline.
Assault: Police arrested a Girard man on an assault charge after he and another man got into a fight in a parking lot near the Mount Carmel Festival.
