YOUNGSTOWN -- The rose garden in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park was the setting at 2:30 p.m. June 22 for the wedding of Tracy Mims, a daughter of Richard and Sandy Evans, all of 2136 S. Newton Falls Road, Diamond, and John Arkwright, 1007 N. Salem-Warren Road, North Jackson.
The groom is a son of Aaron Arkwright, 430 Ninth St., Struthers, and the late Martha and David Keener.
The Rev. Ron Craig officiated.
After a reception at Austintown Fraternal Order of Eagles 3298, the couple left on a Caribbean cruise.
They live at the groom's address.
Pearls embellished the bride's strapless gown, and the full skirt flowed into a cathedral train.
Lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Carol Stetz, and the bridesmaids, Michelle Evans, Mellisa Arkwright, Shannon Deeter, Kim Heffron and Jamie Avery. Flower girl was Elizabeth Mims, and the miniature bride and groom were Amanda Heffron and J.D. Heffron.
Serving as best man was Sean Spencer, and groomsmen were Jeffrey Evans, Brian Moritz, Ron Deeter, John Heffron and Doug Avery. Ring bearer was Chris Stetz.
The bride graduated from Hondros College in Akron with an associate degree in real estate and is a bartender at the Austintown Eagles.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree, the groom is a salesperson with Youngstown Pipe and Supply.
