LEAH HOOVERSTEVEN KECK
POLAND -- Poland Presbyterian Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. June 29 for the marriage of Leah S. Hoover of Columbus, daughter of the Rev. Dr. Robert P. and Linda Hoover of Poland, and Steven R. Keck, also of Columbus, son of Dr. Robert and Lois Keck of Westerville.
The Rev. Dr. Hoover solemnized the ceremony, and the Revs. Gerald Fennell and Alan Hutchison assisted.
A tent reception was held on the lawn at the church, and a dinner was held later at Youngstown Country Club.
The bride's strapless A-line gown of white satin featured a shirred bodice and chapel train, and was enhanced with embroidered Alencon lace.
Gold gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Brooke McCloskey of Cleveland, and the bridesmaids, Amy Finnerty of Carbondale, Colo.; Kelly Jankovich of Long Beach, Calif.; Julie Bacon of Cleveland; and the groom's sister, Jennifer Keck of Baltimore.
Performing the duties of best man was Anthony Nessosis of Miami, and serving as groomsmen were Jeff Pongonis and Titonton Duvante, both of Columbus; Jason Lyman of San Francisco; and the bride's brother, David Hoover of Alexandria, Va.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in music from Ohio State University and is a human-resources administrator at CompManagement Inc. in Dublin.
The groom attended Columbus College of Art and Design and is employed as an accountant at the Crowne Plaza in Columbus.
