KEYSTONE CLIPS Santa Claus to visit summer celebration

RC's Marina at Clark on Shenango River Lake, Mercer County, will have its annual "Christmas In July" celebration Saturday to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The marina has had the event for more than 20 years. This year's program will run from 2 p.m. to midnight. Boat owners are asked to decorate their boats as if it were Christmas or to have their boat decorated with a theme. Prizes will be awarded to the four best decorated boats.
There will be children's activities, a roast beef and chicken roast dinner, music and dancing and fireworks. Of course, Santa Claus will be there with gifts for children at 6 p.m. The program is free, but there is a charge for dinner.

Grove City College has been tapped by Kaplan Inc. as a "best value" when considering quality of education vs. costs.
The ranking is the result of a survey of high school guidance counselors from across the country. Kaplan is a national provider of educational and career services for individuals, schools and businesses.
Grove City College and Villanova University near Philadelphia are the only two Pennsylvania schools among the 41 colleges and universities listed in the survey.
Tuition and room and board for one year for all majors at Grove City will total $13,400 this year, about half the national average for private schools, said a Grove City spokeswoman.
Street with no name
Lawrence County commissioners are learning that picking street names isn't easy.
The commissioners have domain over one stretch of road, which has, until now, gone unnamed. The circular driveway in front of the Lawrence County Government Center will be re-paved and widened, but before state money can be released for the work, they must give it a name.
Government Center Drive and One County of Lawrence were bandied around as possible monikers last week, but commissioners say they need more time to mull over the idea.
