LAKE MILTON -- Milton Township trustees will meet in special session at 10 a.m. Monday in the township hall, 15990 Milton Ave., to consider rezoning two lots on Willard Avenue from R-1 to R-3. The change is being requested by John Morello and Edward Arango, who will apply for a variance to build condominiums there if the zone change is approved.
Free summer concerts held in Warren
WARREN -- Free concerts are conducted at W.D. Packard Music Hall and Convention Center throughout the summer. The concerts run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Attendees should bring a lawn chair.

Rep. Phil Englishis against pay raises
WASHINGTON -- U.S. Rep. Phil English of Erie, R-3rd, voted against a House action that would grant automatic congressional pay raises next year.
English, who has introduced legislation in an attempt to force federal legislators to vote directly on their pay raises, was in the minority. The measure passed 224-118.
"At a time of real economic distress for many families in places like northwestern Pennsylvania, I think it is inappropriate for members of Congress to allow themselves to take a substantial pay increase," he said.
Members of Congress are being paid $150,000 this year. The automatic pay raise is pegged at 3.1 percent and will boost that salary by about $4,500 next year. English has traditionally given his raise away to charitable organizations in his district.
