YOUNGSTOWN -- Married during a sunrise ceremony at 6 a.m. June 19 in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park were Cynthia Marie Martz and Martin Joseph Fernback.
The bride is a daughter of Mary Kay Martz, 7475 Salinas Trail, Boardman, and the late Philip Martz.
Mr. Fernback is a son of Robert and Catherine Fernback, 3928 Loma Vista Drive, Boardman.
The Rev. Albert Shakley officiated, and a reception took place at the Saxon Club in Austintown.
After a wedding trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the couple are living in Boardman.
The bride's sister, Alisa Akuszewski of Austintown, was matron of honor. She wore a pale-yellow gown, as did the bridesmaids, Wendy Lyden of Youngstown, another sister of the bride; and Rita Musial of Poland.
Robert Fernback of Boardman performed the duties of best man for his father, and groomsmen were Joseph Fernback of Boardman, the groom's son, and Alexander Martz of Boardman, the bride's son.
Mrs. Fernback graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in English, where she is pursuing a master's degree in educational administration. She teaches English at Boardman High School.
Her husband is a maintenance supervisor at General Motors Corp. Lordstown Metal Center in Lordstown.
