LPGA NOTEBOOK From Squaw Creek

Key Bank event: LPGA professional Dina Ammaccapane led a team that included Tim Totin, Dave Milken, James Mall and Thad Gorrell to win the Key Bank Pro-Am tournament held at Youngstown Country Club. The winners posted a net score of 52.6. LPGA pro Diana D'Alessio's team of Sandy Zander, John Caldwell, Dean Panaskewas and Bob Ceaplinski finished second with a 54.2.
Withdrawals: So far 10 LPGA players have withdrawn from the tournament. Charlotta Sorenstam withdrew on Monday, and Tuesday the withdrawals included Wendy Doolan, Michelle Ellis, Tina Fischer, Kathryn Marshall, Jill McGill, Marnie McGuire and Jenny Park-Choi. They have been replaced by Clarissa Childs, Ara Koh, Diane Irvin, Amy Read, Ana Belen Sanchez, Minny Yeo, Michelle Bell and Catherine Cartwright. On Wednesday, Tina Tombs withdrew and was replaced by Nicole Jeray.
Face in the crowd: Australian Karrie Webb arrived at the LPGA Classic and practiced intently Wednesday. Webb, who has 27 career victories, including one this season, is coming off a third-place finish last week in the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic. Winning the tournament was Webb's fellow countrywoman, Rachel Teske. "We played a lot of junior golf together and get along really well," Teske said. "We play against each other in tournaments and with each other in team competition." Asked what it was like to hold off Webb down the stretch last weekend, Teske preferred to talk about her own game and not who she beat. "The thing that stood out for me was the way I played on the weekend," Teske said. "It's the first time I struck it so solid, putted well and scored really low on the weekend."
