Tara E. Watkins to be bride of Mr. Mowery

NILES -- Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Watkins of 189 Cassandra Drive are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Tara Elizabeth Watkins of the same address, to Christopher Scott Mowery, 118 Mortimer, Transfer, Pa.
Mr. Mowery is a son of Denise Livingston of Phoenix and a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mowery of Mineral Ridge, who also raised him.
The couple's open ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at Lakeside Evangelical Congregational Church in Transfer. An evening reception will be held at DiVieste Banquet Hall in Warren.
Miss Watkins holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Youngstown State University and is a youth pastor at Niles First United Methodist Church and a waitress at P.J. Snapper's. She also is a majorette adviser for Girard High School.
Her fiance is studying Bible and theology through Global University of Springfield, Mo., and is youth pastor at Lakeside Evangelical Congregational Church.
