MEGAN NELLISCHRISTOPHER BURNSIDE
CANFIELD -- Megan Elizabeth Nellis and Christopher Burnside were married at 1:30 p.m. June 22 at St. Michael Church with Deacon Tom Soich officiating.
Parents of the bride are James and Patricia Nellis, 448 Greenmont Drive, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Burnside, 4462 Mellinger Road.
The couple departed for a honeymoon to Jamaica after their reception at Tippecanoe Country Club.
They are living at 1400 Cross Creek, Columbus.
The bride wore an A-line gown of imported satin fashioned with spaghetti straps and detailed with bugle beads. The detachable chapel train was similarly enhanced.
Maid of honor was Erika Kneen, and bridesmaids were Dr. Melinda Ross, the bride's sister, and Angela Burnside, sister of the groom. They wore seafoam-green ensembles. The bride's cousin, Claudia Fletcher, and the groom's cousin, Bailey Brocker, were flower girls.
Don Jacobson served as best man, and groomsmen were Anthony Burnside, the groom's brother, and Matt Ross, the bride's brother-in-law.
A graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in advertising, Mrs. Burnside is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at Ohio State University Fisher School of Business in Columbus, where she is employed in career services.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in English from KSU and is a manager at Lazarus Department Store in Columbus.
