YOUNGSTOWN -- A honeymoon at Montego Bay, Jamaica, followed the June 22 wedding of Laura Anne Wimer and Stevan Popovich, both of Stow, which was performed by the Rev. Janko Rajlic at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church.
Afterward a reception was held at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Hall to honor the daughter of Nicholas and Darlene Aiello, 2024 Innwood Drive, Austintown, and Robert E. Wimer Jr., 279 Forest Ave., Lake Milton, and the son of Vinko and Vera Popovich, 2354 Oak Trace, Austintown.
The bride is an administrative assistant with CEIA-USA Ltd. in Twinsburg, and the groom is a shop manager with Classic Soft Trim in Bedford.
They live at 3896 Wyndham Ridge Drive, Stow.
The bride's halter-style A-line gown was embellished with pearls, sequins and rhinestones, and the skirt flowed into a cathedral train.
Sky-blue gowns were worn by Shannon Blackburn, the bride's sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Michelle Adams, her sister; Lynnette Deville; Kelly Popovich; Lily Popovich, cousin of the groom; and Liz Salcedo.
George Soljaga served as best man, and groomsmen were Dragan Popovich, the groom's brother; Vinny Popovich, his son; Keith Djuric, Mirko, Milan and Marko Popovich, his cousins; and Mike McMahon, the bride's cousin.
