Bob Hrusovsky of Warren aced the No. 13 hole at the Mill Creek Park South Course. He used a 7-iron on the 144-yard hole. Witnesses were Tim Meehan, Bob Centofante and Dan Kinney. He shot 69 for his 18-hole round.Jerry Angelo of Youngstown made a hole-in-one at Doughton Golf Course on the No.11 Hole, 165 yards, with a 6-iron. Witnesses were Jim Morrison, Ed Lynch, and Ed Kosiba.Vicky Putgano, 76, of Girard aced the 136-yard No. 6 at Mahoning Country Club with a 7-wood. She was playing with Mary Jou Acerra and Ed Beal.Tony Balkan of Austintown made a hole-in-one at Salem Hills Country Club. The 17-year-old aced the No. 8 hole, 145 yards with an 9-iron. It was witnessed by Roger and Gloria Ozias.At the Mill Creek Par-3, Howard Frank of Boardman aced the 77-yard No. 7 with a sand wedge. Matthew VanSuch of Warren aced the 73-yard with a sand wedge. Dave Keffler of Canfield made a hole-in-one on the 63-yard No. 8 with a sand wedge. A.J. DiRenzo of Campbell aced the 84-yard No. 10 and Jimmy Himes of Youngstown shot a hole-in-one on the 63-yard No. 8 with a pitching wedge.Paul Lucas of Warren aced the 150-yard No. 11 at Old Dutch Mill Golf Course with a 7-iron.
