Man is honored for longtime work

BAZETTA -- After years of working for the Trumbull County Fair, Bob Cebula was recognized in January for his dedication.
Cebula was inducted into the Ohio Fair Manager's Association Jan. 10, after being nominated by the Trumbull County Fair Board.
Cebula said he has been involved with almost every aspect of the fair over the last 39 years. Before that, he was involved with 4-H and was even named 4-H king.
He was instrumental in starting the demolition derby and the tractor pulls at the Trumbull County Fair.
His current involvement with the fair is in media and entertainment. He was also the opening ceremonies chairman. He and his wife, Geneva, give a college scholarship for 4-H participants.
He is involved with many other community groups, including the Red Cross, the Knights of Columbus, and Children's Services Board.
Only a few people are inducted into the association each year from across the state. "I'm very honored by it," Cebula said. "There's a lot of competition all across the state."
