Carabbia ruling to come today

COLUMBUS -- The Ohio Parole Board was expected to announce today whether Ronald D. Carabbia has earned parole after serving nearly 23 years in prison for the 1979 bombing death of Daniel J. Greene, a Cleveland organized crime figure. The parole board met for about three hours Monday afternoon to consider the fate of Carabbia, 73, of Poland. Cuyahoga County Prosecutor William D. Mason voiced his objection to the release, as did FBI Special Agent Joe Bushner.
