School board in Campbell hires 5 teachers, 2 assistants

CAMPBELL-- The board of education hired five teachers and two educational assistants for the upcoming school year. The positions will be effective as of Aug. 18.
The personnel hired today were:
Beth Liszka, special education teacher, Campbell Elementary-Middle School. One-year limited contract. Darlene Basista, special education teacher, Campbell Elementary-Middle. One-year limited contract.
Ellen Harvischak, French/English teacher, Campbell Memorial High School. One-year limited contract.
Jeff Olsavsky, art teacher, Campbell Elementary-Middle. One-year limited contract. Annette Tores, elementary teacher, Campbell Elementary-Middle. One-year limited contract.
Patricia Snitzer, educational assistant, Campbell Elementary-Middle.
Carmen Garcia, educational assistant, Campbell Elementary-Middle.
The board is continuing to look for candidates to fill positions of middle school librarian, special education director, music instructor and band director.
