HOUSTON -- Juliet Elizabeth Capellas and Patrick Thomas Jennings were married at 3 p.m. July 6 at St. Michael Catholic Church by the Rev. John Rooney.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Capellas of Houston, formerly of Warren and Youngstown, and Mr. and Mrs. David R. Jennings of Houston.
After a reception at the Houstonian Grande Ballroom, the couple left on a wedding trip to Ireland, Greece and Turkey. They will live in Texas.
The bride's princess-style satin gown was adorned with lace, pearls and crystals and featured a cathedral train.
Honor attendants were Andrea Capellas and Michele Waring, and bridesmaids were Megan McCarl, Kelsey Jones, Caryn Carter, Kate Koppy, Jacqueline Sokal, Danielle Deely, and Stephanie Viehman. Flower girl was Kelly Capellas. They wore lilac gowns.
Jason Frederick was best man, and groomsmen were Breandan Jennings, Colin Jennings, Kevin Arnold, John McDonald, William Grant, Marc Fukuda, Neema Neyeb-Hashemi, and Mir Qamar. Ushers were Jared Waring, William Morgante, and Christopher Wilson.
The bride graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication and interdisciplinary degree in communication, law, economics and government from the American University in Washington where she is pursuing a master's in communication.
The groom, a hardware engineer at Red River Engineering Inc. in Richardson, Texas, earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas, Dallas.
