YOUNGSTOWN -- A reception was held at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in honor of Kevin Chuey, 145 Piccadilly St., Campbell, and his bride, the former Gretchen Baal, 6509 Marsol Road, Mayfield Heights, following their wedding May 25 at St. Christine Church.
The Revs. John-Michael Lavelle and Michael Swierz presided at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and after accepting congratulations, the couple left on a wedding trip to Disney World in Florida.
The daughter of Joseph and Anita Baal, 3627 Cascade Drive, and son of Clifford and Karen Chuey of the Campbell address, live in Cleveland.
Royal blue gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Marcy Airato and Erica Carpenter, and the bridesmaids, Shana Patterson; Katie Chuey the groom's sister; and Elizabeth Meehl and Gina Villa, cousins of the bride. Flower girls was the groom's cousin, Taylor Chuey.
Michael Caturo served as best man, and groomsmen were Gary Utterback, Nick Patterson, Todd Makrucki, Luke Pascute, and Dave McCracken. Ring bearer was the bride's brother, George Baal.
The bride, an analyst/programmer with Progressive Insurance in Highland Heights, graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in electrical engineering.
The groom attended YSU and is a consultant with Starpoint Solutions in Cleveland.
