DONATIONS Raptor center

The Lake Milton Raptor Education Center houses several birds that would not survive in the wild.
Seven of the birds, including a Great Horned Owl and a Red-Tailed Hawk, are used in education programs at schools and community events.
Center President Aimee Pico is seeking donations to help pay for the center's operations. She also would like to expand the center so that local students could see the birds in a natural setting. In addition, Pico is hoping to increase the center's security.
To donate, send a check made out to the Lake Milton Raptor Education Center to Farmers National Bank, 20 South Broad St., P.O. Box 555, Canfield, OH 44406.
To schedule an education program for an event or class, contact Pico at (330) 281-5455 or at birdsofprey1@aol.com.
