Family Service Agency names CEO
YOUNGSTOWN -- David E. Arnold was named president and chief executive officer of Family Service Agency, effective Friday.
Arnold, formerly chief supervisor of family services at the Mahoning County Children Services Board, replaces Patricia T. Jones, who was to retire today.
Family Service Agency is a nonprofit agency that provides family counseling, financial education, rape counseling and information, guardianship services, kinship care and operates the Daybreak Youth Crisis Shelter.
Arnold worked 25 years at Mahoning County CSB. He is an instructor in the Social Work Department at Youngstown State University and a field placement instructor for social-work students at Case Western Reserve University and the University of Akron. He has a master of science degree in social administration from Case.
Family Service, a United Way agency, is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Families.
