SARA GREENMICHAEL DEEM
CANFIELD -- The wedding of Sara Elaine Green and Michael Robert Deem took place at 1 p.m. Dec. 29 at Old North Church.
The daughter of John and Cindy Green, 4269 Maureen Drive, and the son of John and Dee Deem, 412 Poland Ave., Struthers, exchanged vows before the Rev. Brent Allen.
A reception was held at The Elm Tree in Struthers.
The bride wore a matte satin off-the-shoulder A-line gown designed with a detachable chapel train and enhanced with embroidery.
Maid of honor was Elisabeta Qoku, and bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Jennifer Deem, and Samantha Miller. Junior bridesmaid was the bride's sister, Laura Green. They wore silver gowns. The bride's cousin, Alison Green, was flower girl.
Brian Deem performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Dom Lippillo and Derek Pietz. Ring bearer was the groom's brother, Brian Paolone, and ushers were John McStowe, the bride's uncle, and Daniel Daugherty, her brother.
Mr. Deem is serving in the U.S. Army. He will graduate March 1 from training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., after which he will be attached to a reconnaissance unit as a chemical operations overseer at Fort Drum, N.Y., where his wife will join him.
