BOARDMAN -- Chester Porembski, an attorney and a Youngstown native, has been promoted to vice president and assistant general counsel for business at OhioHealth Corp. of Columbus. Porembski is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from The Ohio State University and a law degree from Capitol University in Columbus.
ACCOUNTING
NEW CASTLE -- Carbis Walker & amp; Associates, LLP, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, has elected K. James Hunt and Guy Natale, as partners. Both are certified public accountants and both live in New Castle. Hunt, the firm's coordinator of health services and formerly a senior manager with the firm, has a bachelor's degree from Grove City College. Natale is the firm's manufacturing coordinator and had been a senior manager. He has a bachelor's degree in business and economics from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor's in accounting from Slippery Rock University.
BANKING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Home Savings and Loan Co., a subsidiary of United Community Financial Corp., has hired Diane Umbel as a sales associate in its Boardman branch. A graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, Umbel has a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from Youngstown State University. She lives in Poland.
