SHARPSVILLE, Pa. -- Cattron-Theimeg's Pendant Station Controller, a pendant controller for overhead cranes, has been named a winner of the "Product of the Year" award by Plant Engineering Magazine. The PS Controller was one of more than 40 such products receiving awards out of several hundred nominations sent to the publication. Based in Sharpsville, Cattron-Theimig produces radio and wireless remote control systems for industrial uses.
WARREN -- Second National Bank has been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the leading SBA lender in the Cleveland district and the Youngstown-Warren market area. The bank's SBA activities resulted in 74 loans totaling $8.7 million in fiscal 2001. Second National has been recognized for its high level of SBA lending for four consecutive years.
CANFIELD -- Edwin Ott of Canfield, president of the Crystal Lake RV Subdivision Resort Board of Directors in Naples, Fla., was named Association Board Member of the Year by the South Gulf Coast Chapter of the Community Associations Institute. Ott has been a seasonal resident of Naples since 1991. He is the former chief executive of Warren Fire Equipment and had been president of Valley Power Equipment and Cardinal Enterprises. He has been a director of National City Bank, where he is now a member of the advisory board.
