YOUNGSTOWN -- Cara A. Cupples, a daughter of Tom and Mary Cupples, 2318 Oak Trace Drive, and Daniel J. Barnett, a son of John and Annette Barnett, 425 N. Glenellen Ave., were united in marriage during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Dec. 15 at St. Columba Cathedral.
A reception followed at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
The couple live at 4902 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh.
The bride, a respiratory therapist at St. Elizabeth Health Center, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree.
The groom holds a bachelor's in telecommunications from YSU and a master's in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University. He is coordinator of student activities at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
The bride's white A-line gown was enhanced with pearl and iridescent beading and featured long sleeves, a square neckline and a cathedral train.
Wine-colored gowns were worn by Kelly Cupples, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Jill Cianciolla, Whitney Camp, Theresa Peace, Heather Fogg, Amy Alexander, Kimberly Laret, Melisa Herman, Emily Herman and Amanda Roby. Flower girl was Marisa DeLuca.
Serving as best man was Scott Airato, and groomsmen were Rick Malloy, Corey Camp, Nick Bush, Jerry Barnett, Joe Hayden, Matthew Laret, Brian Seymour, Mark Kangas and Marty Manning. Ring bearers were Brendon and Jordan Camp.
