Airline use stays down
Airlines have lowered fares, but travelers still aren't biting. That's according to data released by the Air Transport Association, the industry's trade group.
The study said domestic airfares dropped 16 percent in November compared with November 2000, and international fares were down 11 percent for the same period. But despite the lower fares and the Thanksgiving weekend, passenger traffic was down almost 20 percent.
