PANTS POINTERS Details make the difference

The "perfect pant" has eluded many women. But maybe women haven't been following the right clues. Cambio, a maker of women's trousers and jeans, offers these pants pointers:
For tricky legs, pay attention to the way the pant is cut on the ankle. Flared and boot cut styles draw the eye down, making legs appear long. Tapered legs complement leggy ladies. A slim fit above the knee will balance the eye for a visually smaller waist.
Choose the right waist cut to lengthen or shorted your torso. Low riders accentuate hips and make the midsection look longer; high-waisted pants best hide bulging bellies and also minimize hips but avoid too much detailing such as front pleats or thick self-belts.
Embellishments, including crystals and beading, can help draw attention away from problem areas. Crystal studs along the outer seam is visually slimming. If you're larger on top, wear a pant even heavier in details, maybe even pants with a glitter finish.
The right colors and patterns can create flattering illusions. Smaller scale patterns in neutrals are best for curvy figures, while brighter and bolder prints can create curves on a lean silhouette.
