The primary mission of the 910th at the Youngstown Air Force Reserve Station is to train reservists.
Employees: 1,300 military personnel; 200 civilian workers.
Economic impact: $73 million infused into the local economy in 2001.
Military deployments: 590 reservists spent a combined 9,456 days at assignments in the United States and numerous foreign countries in support their active duty Air Force counterparts.
Transport: 910th C-130 cargo planes flew 2,500 missions, involving 4,848 flying hours, moving 2.8 million pounds of cargo and 6,657 people.
Active duty: 65 members of the 910th Security Forces were put on indefinite active duty after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
