LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements

BOARDMAN -- Simon Roofing of Boardman has received a gold award in Plant Engineering magazine's 2001 Product of the Year contest for its new roof coating system. The company was recognized for its Wite-Brite All Season Elastomeric Coating System, formulated to rejuvenate and restore single-ply roofing system membranes. Simon officials say the system is the first available that can be used to maintain or restore single-ply roofs. The award will be presented March 18 in Chicago. Simon also received an award in 2000 for another coating product.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Jump In Jack's Party Center was named the Ohio Lottery's Retailer of the Week for the week of Jan. 7. Jack and Anita McCann are the owners of the business at 2603 South Avenue. The Ohio Lottery selects an outstanding retail partner each week on the basis of courteous service, sales enthusiasm and the recommendations of Lottery sales staff.
