YOUNGSTOWN -- St. Christine Church was the setting Dec. 29 as Elizabeth Anne Curtis of Albuquerque, N.M., and Aar & oacute;n Mois & eacute;s Navas Berrios were united in marriage.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a noon ceremony solemnized by Deacon Ron Layko.
Afterward a reception was held in their honor at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman.
They live in Albuquerque.
Parents of the bride are Mark and Karen Curtis, 71 Laurel Hills Lane, Canfield.
The groom is a son of Consuelo Berrios and Carlos Navas of Managua, Nicaragua.
The bride's sleeveless matte satin gown featured a scooped neckline, an elongated bodice adorned with pearls and embroidery, and a full skirt that flowed into a chapel train.
A navy gown was worn by Christine Pelic of Mount Pleasant, S.C., who served as honor attendant for her sister.
The duties of best man were performed by the bride's grandfather, John Tokarsky of Youngstown. Ushering guests were Michael Chaffee of Warren and the bride's godfather, Jack White of Struthers.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, graduated magna cum laude from Xavier University in Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in social work. She is pursuing a degree in cultural anthropology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
The groom graduated from the Politechnical University of Nicaragua with a degree in industrial design.
