Exhibition expandson architecture
Travelers to Florida this winter season can look to fun as well as cultural edification at a mind-expanding exhibition called "Vito Acconci: Acts of Architecture," on view through March 3 at the Miami Art Museum.
Designed to entice public involvement, the show employs performance art, installations and sculpture as a means of increasing one's awareness of the world.
Acconci has divided his work into categories: architectural games and events; furniture, devices and instruments; room environments and interiors; buildings, streets and plazas; playgrounds, parks and gardens; and vehicles.
