Get your motor runnin' for vintage Harley exhibit

WARREN -- That noise you hear coming from the National Packard Museum is "Thunder of the Road."
The next two days marks the first big weekend of the newest exhibit at the museum, at 1899 Mahoning Ave.
The collection of vintage motorcycles features Harley-Davidsons from every decade from 1915 to 1970.
Among the Harley models are those affectionately known by cycle enthusiasts as the Pan Head, the Knuckle Head and the Shovel Head. The exhibit of late actor Clark Gable will appear Saturday and Sunday. Among the prized collection is a 1938 Knucklehead, in pristine condition.
Although the Gable collection will be in town only this weekend, the rest of the exhibit remains through April 20.
Also on display are rare cycles, including the Henderson KL, the 1909 Excelsior, the Indian Prince and the Scout, the Ariel Square Four and the Zundapp Super Scooter.
The museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and children ages 7 to 12.
