3 arraigned in robbery

SHARON, Pa. -- Police have arrested three men in the strong-arm robbery of a city man in the 300 block of Russell Street early Tuesday.
Matthew T. Wiseman, 23, of Warren-Sharon Road, Masury; Joseph J. Simeon, 21, of East Liberty Street, Girard; and David E. Williams, 23, of Downing Lane, Hermitage, all surrendered at the police station at 8:50 a.m. Thursday after learning warrants had been issued for their arrest on a charge of robbery.
Police said the three are accused of attacking and beating the Sharon man and stealing his cellular telephone. The three were arraigned before District Justice James McMahon, who freed them on their own recognizance pending a preliminary hearing.
