10 trees for $10
The National Arbor Day Foundation is offering 10 trees -- two each of white flowering dogwoods, Washington hawthorns, goldenrain trees, American redbuds and flowering crabapples -- to each person who joins the Arbor Day Foundation by mailing $10 to National Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Ave., Nebraska City, Neb. 68410. Members also will receive a subscription to Arbor Day, the foundation's bimonthly publication, and "The Tree Book," which has information about tree planting and care.
