THURSDAY
National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will serve pasta dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. The all-you-can-eat family-style dinners include two meatballs, salad, bun, dessert and beverage, and are available for takeout. XPost and auxiliary members of VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners with salad, bread, and coffee or tea from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children under 12 and $5.25 for carryouts.
FRIDAY
Guilford Lake Ruritan, state Route 172 at Hanna Drive, will hold an all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meals will include potato, salad, ice cream and beverage. The cost is $7 for adults. Carryouts will be available.
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be taking orders for potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-ins will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers.
Fish dinners will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church Hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, bread, butter, coffee and tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeout orders. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be taking orders for pirogi from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday.
Hubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $4.25 for small dinners. Cost is $3.75 per dozen. Pickup will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance.
St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be taking orders for pizza at (330) 746-9577 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Friday. Orders must be picked up by 1 p.m. Friday.
XSt. John Orthodox Church, 301 Struthers-Liberty Road, Campbell, will sell homemade haluski from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $4 per quart, and containers will be provided.
Potato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316 and can be picked up beginning at noon. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers.
St. Paul the Apostle Church, Route 170, Main Street, New Middletown, will be taking orders for potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi at (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Frozen pirogi will be available.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will be taking orders for potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, based on availability, at (330) 747-3024. The cost is $3.50 a dozen. On Friday lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.
Sts. Cyril & amp; Methodius Church, Warren, will hold a pirogi sale from noon to 5 p.m. at the school auditorium, 175 Laird Ave. N.E., Warren. Potato, sweet cabbage, sauerkraut and lekvar will be available. Orders should be placed in advance; call (330) 393-0781 Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
SATURDAY
Chicken pie dinners will be served from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Fowler United Methodist Church, state Route 193. Meals are $6 for adults, $3.50 for children 612, and free for preschoolers.
SUNDAY
Goshen Grange, state Route 165, Salem, will serve country breakfasts from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $4 for adults and $2.50 for children.
Niles Knights of Columbus will have a cavatelli dinner from noon to 4 p.m. at the council hall. Cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12. Patrons should take their own containers for carryout orders.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Carryouts will be available; containers are 75 cents or you can provide your own.
Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Catholic Church, 702 Cameron Ave., Youngstown, will hold a Swiss steak dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parish hall. Meals also will feature potatoes, vegetable, salad, rolls, beverage and dessert. Tickets are $6.50 for adults, $4 for children 6-12 and free to children under 6. Takeouts also will be available.
