THURSDAY
XCol. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, VFW, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers. The pasta dinners will be served with meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $4.50 for adults and $2.50 for children under 8. Carryout orders will be $5 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.
FRIDAY
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be selling potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-ins will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday only. Patrons are asked to provide containers.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, bread and butter, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi, hot pirogi lunches, and plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar doughnuts. Orders are taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $3.50 for a dozen pirogi.
Hubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $4.25 for small dinners. National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will be serving a fish buffet and selling pirogi. The buffet will be available from 3:30 to 7 p.m. The cost will be $8 for adults and $5 for children. Potato and cheese pirogi may be ordered ahead as a takeout. The cost is $4 a dozen.

Fish dinners will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parish center at St. James Church, Route 422, New Bedford, Pa. XSt. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church will hold a family fish fry from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Shady Run Activity Center, 3800 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. Meals will feature 10-ounce fried or baked haddock with side dishes and dessert. The price is $7.50 for adults and $5.50 for children 12 and under. Takeout orders also will be available.
St. Paul the Apostle Church, Route 170, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. St. Rose Church of Girard Ladies of Mount Carmel Society will be selling pasta and beans, fried dough and several varieties of pizza at the church, 48 E. Main St., Girard. St. Charles Home and School Association will sponsor a "Sunday Spag-tucular" dinner" from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Father Haidet Hall, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. Proceeds will benefit the school. The pasta dinner will feature choice of spaghetti or cavatelli with sauce and meatballs or sausage. The chicken parmigiana dinner offer a choice of spaghetti or cavatelli.
