Woman killed in crash on Ohio Turnpike

NILES -- A 62-year-old Girard woman was killed after the car in which she was riding struck another vehicle near Exit 15 of the Ohio Turnpike on Sunday morning.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Rebhra Hadi died just before midnight from injuries suffered around 9:50 a.m. when the 1987 Volvo in which she was a passenger crashed into a 2002 Ford driven by Alfredo Solis, 49, of Chicago.
Solis apparently missed his exit and was backing up or had just backed up when his car was struck, according to OSHP. His car was on the berm and may have been protruding onto the highway, the patrol said.
Hadi's husband, Abed Hadi, 62, was driving the Volvo.
Solis' 11-year-old son was a passenger in his car.
Both drivers and their passengers were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, for treatment. All except Rebhra Hadi were released.
They were all wearing seat belts.
