FASHION SHOW Angels of Easter Seals plans annual event

Models will be accompanied by past and present Easter Seals children.
BOARDMAN -- Angels of Easter Seal will sponsor its 25th annual Celebration Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon March 21 at Mr. Anthony's, 7440 South Ave.
A social hour will begin the event at 11 a.m. followed by lunch at noon and the fashion show at 1 p.m.
A collection of spring fashions will be presented by professional models as well as the following local media models: from WKBN, Catherine Bosley, Robb Schmidt, Jennifer Brindisi, Paul Wetzel and Sarah Eisler; from WYTV, Stan Boney, Vince Bevacqua, LaCheryl Tucker and Cheri Colelli; from WFMJ, Susan DeLeo, Bob Black, Frank Marzullo and Laura Steele; and from The Vindicator, Gail White and Diane Makar Murphy.
The media models will be accompanied by past and present children from the Easter Seal Center, including the children's ambassador, Sabrina Welce, daughter of Kelly Blucker of Struthers; David Kredel, son of Beth and Donald Kredel of Youngstown; Marlene and Marcus Armstrong, children of Sandee Armstrong of Youngstown; Hector and Gilbert Rodriguez, sons of Nicole Rodriguez of Campbell; and Bianca Severino, daughter of Robert and Gina Severino of Poland.
A first-prize cash award of $2,500 will be raffled, as well as a $1,000 shopping spree, two round-trip airline tickets, a $500 gift certificate, six $500 U.S. Savings Bonds and many other items.
Raffle tickets may be purchased from any Angel or by calling the Easter Seal Center at (330) 743-1168. Also on sale at the event will be the Angels' new cookbook, "Party Favorites," along with their two earlier volumes.
To attend: Tickets for the event are $30 each or $35 for patrons. For an invitation call the center at the above number. All funds raised benefit Easter Seals in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties.
Chairwomen of the event are Sally Reedy and Joan Zarlenga, and committee members are Nancy Varley, Betty Cmil, Carole Lumsden, Ginny Pichette, Susan McConnell, Sylvia Pantalone, Effie Pascarella, Janet Zennario, Mary Lou Green, Susan Rupert, Jan Evans, Emily DeToro, Jill Chesney, Susan Berny and Julie Costas. Geri Kosar serves as president of the organization.
