Kerri Vesely to be bride of Mathew Benson

GIRARD -- Plans for the early summer wedding of Kerri Michelle Vesely, 1305 41st St. N.W., Canton, and Mathew Paul Benson, a son of Don and Paula Benson, all of 5344 Peninsula Drive, Canton, are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Ronald and Elaine Vesely, 7 Cheyenne Drive.
St. Rose Church has been chosen by the couple for their open wedding at 2 p.m. July 20. They will extend invitations for their evening reception to be held at McMenamy's in Niles.
Miss Vesely, an eighth-grade English teacher with Louisville City Schools, graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is pursuing a master's degree in education at Ashland University, Ashland.
Mr. Benson holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Muskingum University in New Concord and is a seventh- and eighth-grade special-education teacher with Canton City Schools.
