KINSMAN -- The Badger High boys basketball team kept pace with LaBrae atop the Trumbull Athletic Conference standings by defeating Liberty 62-50 Tuesday.
Badger (16-3, 12-3) led just 39-38 going into the fourth quarter but out-scored the Leopards 23-12 in the final eight minutes.
Josh Upshire scored a game-high 21 points, while Josh Klingensmith added 15 points and Brett Bell 10 points and seven rebounds for the Braves.
Liberty (4-15, 4-11) was led by Bradley Fletcher with 15 points and six rebounds. Joe Lopez dished out six assists.
Lakeview 58, Brookfield 50: CORTLAND -- Brandon Bakker had 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter as Lakeview out-scored Brookfield 23-14.
Kevin Rigby had 17 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for Lakeview (10-9, 8-7 TAC). Phil Butch added 11 points.
Julian Hayes scored 14 points to lead Brookfield (6-13, 2-13).
Hubbard 69, Girard 65: GIRARD -- Hubbard (9-11), which rallied in the fourth quarter to prevail, put three players in double figures to complete regular season play.
Anthony Smith led the Eagles with 19 points. Jason Lenzi added 18 and Matt Smith had 11.
Girard (7-11) was led by Greg Cook with 18 points. Walter Jones chipped in with 14 and Randy Mason finished with 10.
